I haven't updated the blog for about a month. I decided to just post a bunch of pictures of our last month, and give you a quick update on what's going on.
Norah is almost 11 months old. She is a busy, busy little girl. She doesn't stop moving until nap/bed time (and sometimes not even then)! She will often lay awake in bed...playing, kicking, fussing, etc. for up to an hour! Even when she eats, she is constantly moving. We can't believe we will be celebrating her 1st birthday in a little over a month! How this year has flown by. She truly is a joy and we can't imagine life without her.
Some things Norah enjoys doing are eating, being outside, dancing, wrestling with Daddy, splashing in her pool, and babbling all day long! Some new things she is doing...starting to get brave and stand up on her own, drink from a sippy cup (by herself), waving (we think), playing peek-a-boo and 'so big', and imitating us when we laugh or cough! She is so much fun right now!
Some highlights from the month of July...we enjoyed a night out with some friends at the beginning of the month. We loved having my aunt, uncle, and their family come for a visit, along with some visits from Norah's grandmas! We were able to spend some time with Lance's aunt and uncle in MN before a family wedding on my side of the family a couple of weeks ago. Last week I went to visit my dad (after he fell off a roof) to help him out around the house since my mom was gone! We are thankful he didn't have any serious injuries, and he is doing much better now! This past weekend, I attended a Women's retreat with our church. It was a great time of learning, growing, and fellowship with some amazing women! We also enjoyed a visit (and a sleepover) with my sister and her two kids over the weekend! This weekend Lance is going to be doing a 1/2 triathlon. It's a 1/4 mile swim, 3 mile run, and 17 mile bike ride (maybe not in that order)! He has been enjoying the training and hoping to do more of these! It's been a busy month, but a great one!
